Christmas blogging on the run
Despite leaving everything until the last minute yet again (I may have finished the Christmas knitting ahead of time, but everything else has been carefully avoided until the very last possible moment), I simply couldn't leave this blog without an update before Christmas. So....
Since I last blogged, I have:
Finished the Bellatrix socks.

Almost finished a plain pair of socks (Araucania 'Ranco', colourway 'Stained Glass'. Gorgeous yarn).

Visited my grandmother and other relatives on my mother's side (a visit which was very enjoyable, with very few people asking if I was 'still doing that music thing' or inquiring as to why I don't have a 'feller' yet).
Been featured (very briefly) in the latest episode of the Insubordiknit podcast. I recorded the clip during the Great Dishcloth Frenzy of '07. Check it out.
I spent this morning baking (and baking and baking).

This is but a sampling of the baked goods I whipped up. The majority will be going to my parents' house tomorrow for Christmas day. (Sorry about the picture quality, but I don't have time to take a better one).
Finally, I shall leave you with this picture, and no explanation. It was taken at a Christmas cabaret I performed in some weeks ago. What am I doing? Perhaps it's best that you never, never know.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

I think that last picture could only be improved by the addition of the Bellatrix socks!!
